Momentum Corporate Finance approached me seeking a comprehensive overhaul of their brand identity and website. With their current identity dating back nearly 15 years, they recognised the need for a fresh, modern look that accurately reflected the values and expertise of their business: professionalism, approachability, passion, and expertise.

I initiated a co-creation session with the client. This session served as a platform to understand their creative ambitions, listen to their concerns, and gain insight into their desired visual direction. Together, we clarified the brand's personality and identified the target audience. After conducting thorough competitor analysis, I developed a range of design solutions to explore and refine throughout the process. I created an identity around the idea of an open door suggesting transparency and a ‘door of opportunity’ The establishment of the logo helped guide the development of all subsequent collateral.

My vision was to forge a brand that exudes professionalism yet remains approachable. The colour palette was chosen to reflect this ethos; darker blues evoke a sense of heritage and reliability, while lighter hues infuse warmth and approachability. Moving away from the conventional serif fonts prevalent in the sector, I opted for sleek sans-serif typography to bring a modern and dynamic edge to the brand's identity.

Conclusion

The implementation of Momentum Corporate Finance's new brand identity has resulted in a remarkable transformation, elevating their presence in a competitive market. The website redesign has proven to be particularly impactful, with noticeable increases in traffic and a decrease in bounce rate, indicating improved engagement and user experience. The refreshed brand has generated tangible business results, as evidenced by the acquisition of five new deals within just four months of the brand's relaunch.
